Level Up (A5E) Deadeye feat and ricochet maneuver

The point still stands: a target that is safely 3/4 cover behind a castle wall is nonchalantly (is that even a word?) Shot 3 times a round and i thinknits a bit too much.
Well, that's what the feat does. If you feel it's OP (btw, 3 shots are only possible for relatively high level fighters, not for everyone), you can houserule it however you like. But as it stands I don't think the feat needs tweaks to increase in power

I'm very confused! Do you think the feat is too powerful or too weak?

I think the feat is too powerful. Removing AC bonus from cover is the specific part of the feat that im looking to modify. Specially because the feat already ignores cover in a more limited way through ricochet maneuver.

Now.i need to figure out how to modify it to still make it balanced.
My options so far is to make it a half feat or to have it ignore the disadvantage to attack within 5 ft of an enemy. The first im afraid may be too strong and the later kinda deviates from what I envision "deadeye" to be - a sharpshooter that rarely miss his target no matter the odds.

crossbow expertise already does the latter anyway (yes, for all ranged weapons, it doesn't specify only crossbows. yes, that is thematically kind of strange, and yes it probably would be better if the name of the feat or the scope of the point were changed to make more sense, but it is what it is).

also, 3rd level sharpshooter fighters ignore disadvantage on ranged attack rolls from being within 5 feet of an enemy AND half/three quarters cover anyway. the latter point being half of an 8th level feat is fine imo.
