Dear Lord--Nemesis preview!!! [UPN]

Did anyone see that astounding preview for ST: Nemesis run during the Twilight Zone?! I just about shat myself when a ship flew into the Enterprise's nacelle, a guy gets sucked out the holed bridge and it looked like the whole damned ship blew up. Mark my words, this will finally be one movie that isn't just another expanded episode!

It should be interesting seeing the responce once the actual movie is out.

I seem to remember a lot of hoopla, and wonderment after the first trailer for the Phantom Menace came out...and we all know how that went :)

Me, I'm not holding may breath. I still think Wrath of Khan is the best Trek movie.

And you would be mistaken. The best Trek movie is the next Trek movie...always. ;) (Though, admittedly, it isn't the case retrospectively.) I hope they never wind up thinking they can't top themselves and should stop trying to make something better than Khan. (Best movie, so far! :D )

Anyway, great preview and should be worth checking on the big screen. It'll be a pretty good holiday season

Potter, Star Trek and Rings, Oh My!

You guys'll never learn, eh? ;)

That's what I've said for the last few movies - I said it again after seeing the preview of Nemesis - but why should this one be any different?

I believe ST has lost the ability to make gripping space drama.
I mean, WHO could mess up a movie that involves battles in space?!!

But Nemesis'll find a way

Y'know...I'm a pretty decent fan of Star Trek (not a Trekker or Trekkie or whatever you want to call it) but how many times does the Enterprise need to be blown up? Things sure seemed a lot safer when it was a TV series.

Now that this could be the last movie for TNG (yeah, right), then it might as well go out in style by blowing up the Enterprise. Besides, the way the Ent-D went was laughable enough to warrant a good ship destruction.

I also echo reapersaurus' sentiment concerning the way cool previews and the lackluster delivery. But, like the rest of you, I've got high hopes for Nemesis.

Yeah... but that didn't quite set in until after the fifth viewing. The first three times RULED! :)

Amen, brother. But I'll still have to throw-down with anyone who bashes First Contact... that's my favorite of the ones I saw in the theater. :)
