I'm now about half-way through "Are We Having Fun Yet? American Indian fantasy stories" by William Sanders. And I have to say these are great. Sanders has a wicked sense of humour. For instance, the opening story - which was nominated for multiple awards (and won one I haven't heard of, the Sideways Award for best alternate history story) - is, well, a what-if William Shakespeare had accidentally ended up in the New World among the Cherokee - and tries to put on a production of Hamlet.
