December '08: What are you playing?

First Post
The good ol' monthly stand-by thread continues.

I'm still plowing my way through Tales of Phantasia (GBA). Still a tremendously fun game that bodes well for the rest of the Tales series (of which I own in its entirety, but have yet to play through). I've recently passed the 50-hour mark, and I'm close to finishing (one doozy of sidequest left, and then the final castle).

Wife and Friend: Our Thursday-night Rock Band (PS3) continues. Got the plane and opened up North America, and we're working our way through there. We're concentrating more on stars now (~1100), rather than fans (stalled at 2.4 million) so we can finish the game and move on to RB2.

Still chugging away at a Space Marine campaign in Dawn of War: Soulstorm. I have one more territory to take before I can take out the Dark Eldar. Thank god!!! They are one of the more annoying races. The Infiltrated Mandrake Squads are probably the biggest nuisance. Thank goodness the Marines can attach an observer to their tactical squads.
I've already taken out the Orks, Tau, and Chaos. Once done with the Dark Eldar I'll swing back up the right side of the map and take out the Necrons, Eldar, Imperial Guard, and finish with the Sisters of Battle.

THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!!!

Tales of Vesperia - 360
Fallout 3 - 360
Rock Band 2 - PS3
Little Big Planet - PS3

Tales is some fun old-school RPG action with a new-school shell. I like it so far, about 4 hours in. Fallout 3 is fun, too. I'm not gaga over it like other are, tho. I was the same with Oblivion.

Despite intending to spend more time w/LittleBigPlanet, whenever I switch on my PS3 I wind up playing Wipeout HD, which is a terrific game, BTW. I'm also still making my way through FFIV for the DS.

Too many games!! :)

Currently playing?
"Prince of Persia"(XBox 360)
"Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories"(PS2)
"Tales of Symphona 2" (Wii)
"ALone in the Dark-Inferno" (PS3)
"Uncharted" (PS3)
"Mirror's Edge" (PS3)
"Fable II" (XB360)
"Legendary" (PS3)

Fiddling with?
"Left 4 Dead"(XB360)
"Little Big Planet" (PS3)
"Guitar Hero World Tour" (XB360)-- They finally put out the Killers tracks! :)

Just beaten?
"Bully" (XB360)
"Resistance I & II"(PS3)
"Force Unleashed" (PS3)
"Fallout 3" (XB360)
"Silent Hill: Homecoming" (XB360)

And I have a crate of games I started and put aside or haven't started. (I'm hoping to work my way through the "Ratchet and Clank" series someday.) ;)

Finished Fallout 3, and now counseling my wife who is slowly learning to deal with what she calls a "twitch game" (that being Fallout 3 :)).

Local store accidentally put out Story Hour: Fairy Tales a week early so I picked up before they took it off their shelves and I have been enjoying it immensly.

Finished Fallout 3 and though it was very fun I don't feel like playing again for a while. Started Mass Effect again, and also playing some Spore whenever I have little extra time.
