Deity ability score generation: how do you do it?

Title says it all: how do you generate deity ability scores? I can't think of any method that will give Thor a 92 strength besides arbitrary assignment.

Remember, Thor's belt doubles his strength score.

That said, no one has really found the formila, but so far the following seems to work for some of them, and is close for others.

Rasie all scores to 24. Then add 21 + Divine Ranking + Level score increases. I think that's what it is. It's not exact, but it seems to be ballpark.

I'm working on converting Kancheisis (Lord of Vampires from 2nd Ed. Monster Mythology), and I gave him the stats of the default Rogue/Wizard (his 2 classes) (Int of a Wiz, Dex of a Rog, etc. -- whichever had the highest score, I gave him that score). I then applied the Patriarch Vampire template to him (the oldest Vampire template from the Ravenloft Campaign Setting), then added his Divine Ranks to his ability scores.

He's quite nasty... ;)

( yes, I do plan on posting him up here, as soon as I get him finished...)

How about 40d6, take the best 30?

:D

Well, the Sage answer is close to the one someone came up with. Instead of using 21 randomly assigned points, they have 16 in greater stat increases from the 24s. they use 35, 28, 25, 24, 24, 24 for the diety stats. I wonder what the process was that determined that. Point Buy really starts to die at those numbers.
