Demon based magic campaign setting

Any one ever created a magic system based on the magic system from The Bartimaeus Trilogy?

Just a short recap on that system: Demons are used in almost every form of magic. The only form of magic deomns are not used in is the summoning and/or punishing of demons.

Atleast that is how I remember it. I am horrible at remembering stuff from books.

So has any one heard of such a system or designed one? I am fully ready to begin work on it, but I was wondering if any one had done somthing similar I could work off of.

Not necessarily from the book trilogy you mentioned, but Red Spire Press' Dark Legacy Campaign Setting uses demon based magic. Its very harsh for the caster as well...
