Not sure if this is in the right forum but the minis ARE made for 4th edition.

I have bought complete cases ever since Harbinger so I consider myself an expert on the mini's.

IMHO, Demonweb's randomization is complete crap! I bought 2 cases (as per usual). After opening 1 case I have everything except 12 rares. After opening the 2nd case, I am still missing 12 rares! The second set was a complete duplicate of minis down to the same commons and uncommons!

Being canadian, I pay a LOT of money for these minis and have to admit I am pretty choked about getting 2 cases EXACTLY the same.

WotC, if you are listening, I am far from impressed! I know there is a change in marketting to the mini's coming up but I seriously will have to consider if I want to invest anymore money if this is the way of the future!

Anyways, do what you will with this feedback o' wary consumer!

Go over to Hordelings and post the lot number in the "Happy New Minis Day" thread where Peter can see it. I got hit even "worse" as I bought 2 cases, a friend bought another, opened one of my own then we were going to draft from the two cases and they all three had the same rares. Distribution in the '705 lot looks to be utter crap. With two cases, you could get a full set, but were more likely to get duplicates.

Then again, this is the last set with this distribution plan, so it isn't going to be a great help either way.

I've found that the cases generally come as an 'a' set , a 'b' set, and a 'c' set. I have bought two cases before and found that I got exactly 2/3's of the rares, and 4 of all commons, 2 of 2/3rd's the uncommon s, 1 of the last 1/3.

Sadly it seems you boxes weren't taken one after the other.

That has been my experience too. Usually after 2 cases I have found I could be anywhere from 2-8 rares short of the set so I consider that the standard. To still be missing 12 is a waste of a lot of money. Also, some of the uncommons I am pretty short on too which doesn't make me very happy either.
