Denver going overboard on pit bulls?

Add me to the not a fan of pit bulls camp. There have been many cases in which a "domesticated" pit bull suddenly snaps and attacks someone. The problem with pit bulls is that once that happens, it's not going to be pretty.

I'm curious how Denver is going about this. Are they denying people of property without trial? How are they getting in to the home without a warrant? Are just getting a lot of search and seizure warrants?

I don't like this from a humanitarian standpoint or a freedom standpoint.

There's a guy on my block with two young pits. He lets them run loose in a yard with no fence, and when they fight, he encourages them. If one of them even glances at my son, I'll shoot the dog in front of him. Repeatedly.

having seen an 11 year old with 46 stitches on his face and arms from a pit attack.. i can say without a doubt. i'd kill it if it were loose.

They should quit messing around.

If a pit bull attacks someone, euthanize the owner. That'd get to the bottom of the problem a heck of a lot faster.
