Derogatory term for cohort

or the always popular name that is not theirs, perhaps even not the right gender. Insist on calling all of your male cohorts 'Nancy' for example.

Ahh, the "Dr. Perry Cox" model :)

One of my favorite episodes of Scrubs was when Cox told J.D. that--having been calling him women's names for so long--he felt he was in a bit of rut and would for the rest of the day be referring to him exclusively by the names of female bubblegum popstars.

Funny enough to hear him calling J.D. "Britney" and "Christina"...but I about lost it when he screamed "PINK!" at him across a crowded ER :)

How about...

  • Lug-Thug
  • Shield-Ape
  • Groupie
  • Pre-Corpse
  • Golem
  • Arrow-Catcher (or any other projectile weapon-Catcher)
  • Scabbard (mainly for carrying spare weapons, and, well, being used as "scabbards" by the enemy)
  • Shrieker (in the sense that they always make noise--wanting to be fed, wanting payment, getting killed...)

Or, for a more sinister/evil bent, they could just be called "thralls" or "slaves."
