Desert of Athas Dungeon Tiles

I suppose it makes sense to have water stand in for silt from the standpoint of getting more use out of a single set of tiles, and also avoiding confusion between regular sand and silt.

What are the bench like parts at the back?

Those are wagons, kinda. Enough room at the top for 2 medium miniatures and enough space in the back for a large. One comes with each set.

So looking at reverse sides:

Building: Adobe brown or light brown.

Stairs: Ditto

Water pieces: With the exception of two pieces, all the water pieces have desert or other non-water elements on the back.

The boat has a stream mouth on the reverse. And the small 2x2 has solid water on one side and a bend in a stream on the other side.

So the set can make a nice desert with no water if desired. Nice design.

With water, you pretty much saw all the water in the pictures linked above. So about two-thirds of the non-3D tiles have water elements. The are solid water pieces, a few shore pieces, and some river/stream pieces.

Agreed! Definitely another must-buy for me.

Water/coast/harbour tiles is actually one of the sets I've been asking for.

Since next year there'll be an ice/snow set, all that's really left is a couple of swamp/marsh and maybe hill/mountain tiles.
