Destined - (d100 Supers) - Victorian Characters

I am creating some Victorian supers characters as pregen PCs for a short adventure, power level Street to Epic. So far my list is:

Adam (Frankenstein's monster)
Mina Harker
Altamont (Sherlock Holmes)
Nemo

I am looking for suggestions for other characters?

The system is the recently released "Destined" RPG based on Mythras.

That's very "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", if you're only modeling established characters. Others from the roster include Henry Jekyll and Griffin, the Invisible Man. How about the sailor with pet orangutan from The Murders in the Rue Morgue?

It is very 'League' - which is why I am asking here for some different ideas! Jekyll/Hyde and Griffin aren't as interesting (to me).

Rue Morgue is an intriguing suggestion, but I am not sure though that anyone, or thing would be a suitable PC for a supers-ish game from that story.

A folklore hero? John Henry or Pecos Bill might be overpowered (I'm guessing), but you can probably find someone in the right power range for your campaign.

That's exactly what I am after thanks, and the right kind of power level. I will post some stats when I work out the characters I have so far.
