Make an adventure to kill a toad. In LEB, that will probably take one month. Then cash in the GM point and ka-ching!
Why don't you do that instead? Then he gets his toad, and you get the GM credit?

For whoever would like it: :)

Locations (only) are based on "Encounter at Blackwall Keep" from Age of Worms, which my group played through as being in Eberron, per the notes by Kieth Baker.

To Kill A Toad
In a swamp near Sharn, two small keeps have been built to discourage lizard men raiding on their more civilized neighbors. The soldiers recieve their pay once very 3 months, delivered by a smal militia troup. Recently, the majority of the troop retreated from the swamp in disaray with the news that their leader (who was carrying the pay at the time) was swallowed whole by a gigantic toad (mmII p. 76.) The rest of the troop fled. The militia is looking for a group of adventurers willing to hunt down and kill the toad, and is willing to give that group of adventurers the details of te ncident (including te specific location) in return for a promise to return 1/4 of the pay to the militia. The remainng 3/4 of the gold will be the reward for the adventuring troup.

Other dangers are known to lurk in the swamp, and the militia is very concerned that the party not stir up the lizardmen, with whom they have a truce at the moment.

Could I actually do that?...I guess I could.

Wait a couple weeks. I have a cool idea for a short adventure, but as I said I get swamped in the details. I'm confident on having a proposal soon, however, and there are several other characters in the taverns also lacking 10 xp to reach 3rd level who I'm sure are also looking for a toad to kill.

That's frickin' awesome, Patlin.

I've got one PC in the tavern. She, like Seat, is only 10 XPs shy of 3rd level.

I've got 3 games going right now, all in the early to middle stages, and all with combats going on. If any DM who likes the idea wants to propose it, they are welcome too. Otherwise, I need to finish one up before I start a new one. :)

Also, along the same lines, Astral combat hurts my head! It's like everyone is in a full speed but poorly controlled fighter jet, and they move more than a normal size map each round! :D

 That's almost exactly what I was thinking of doing, except I was going to check if Sharn had interesting sewers and then place it there ;)

I've trudged through Sharn's sewers, also in Age of Worms, and that should work too. :) Sharn and environs allow for a very broad set of choices for a DM.

I'm in the same boat as Patlin. I've got three on my plate, 2 in the early stages and one about half way through that I had to take over from an MIA DM in LEW.

Hmm...I guess I have 1 LEB game, 3 LEW games + 1 I took over that is split in two, 2 Spelljamming games, 1 M&M game, and 1 regular game that aren't currently on hiatus, so probably no more GMing for me in the near future. I wish I had more characters in games though--of my five characters, I have only one character in a game between LEW and LEB combined, and that game is on hiatus until Gwyd's computer starts working again with ENWorld :(
