Hi there,
I'm new on the 4th Edition and going through the Player's Handbook to create a rogue. I'm not sure if I understand the exploit Riposte Strike correctly. If I use that power succesfully on a target, I can interrupt the target's attack against me until the start of my next turn, OK. Does this mean the target loses its attack against me no matter my riposte hits or not? Or is it able to perform its attack if I don't hit it, and if so, do I still have my AC against that attack?
It's an At Will power, so could it be that in a duel with a single opponent who has one attack per round he wouldn't be able to attack me at all as long if I hit him in every turn?
