Detroit Gameday: Jan 31!! The Aftermath!!

I'm going to run d20 CoC, and will post specific details this weekend. If we get no interest, then you can give my slot away to someone willing to run a game with more interest and I'll just sign up to play.

I will also get you the names and game selections and/or offers to run games from my gaming mates that will be attending.

Well, I'll check my schedule to be sure I can make it that day, but I'd dig some CoC - and I think any of my players who decide to come wouldn't be adverse to it either. I'll try to find out from my "planner" (aka wife) and see about the first part, then contact them and get back to you as soon as I reasonably can.

later

Another question - is this is d20 only sort of event? Reason I ask is some friends of mine are going to be publishing a licensed Hero fantasy setting product hopefully not too far down the road (we start the final playtest next week) and would probably dig a chance to run this for some other people. If it's okay to mix some other systems in, I think they might try to make it and even post an event here. They really have some great stuff - enough to impress Steve Long - and if you were ever eager to try Hero 5th ed. or just try something new, you'd probably dig what they have.

Would be great if this Game Day turns into a recurring, casual gaming convention sort of thing. I'll plan on visiting this Pandemonium place and check it out this weekend.

Great! I've updated the main page. Let me know when you've got a description. Man, so many fun-sounding choices!

Perfect! Thanks Quickbeam!

Let me know if you'd like me to sign you (or anyone you've got a commitment from) up!

It'll be predominatly d20, but there's always room for something else (the Synnibarr fiasco at the last Chicago Gameday is a great example :)).

I've actually never played Hero but I've wanted to try it for some time.

Synnibar?!?!?

Oh...

my....

gawd...

I think my brain just freeze-fried and melted all in the same instance. :)

Guess that'll be a story I'll have to hear the full details of sometime.

I'll update you on things when I know what's up with my fellows and myself.

Hey, Quick! Is that the same CoC scenario I've already played? If not, I'm interested. Soon, though, I'll have to commit, once games are firmly down in the slot...

I need a vote here: I'm currently working on a Ultimate Freedom City Setting, or I could use my Detroit Race Riots with Super Powers setting. Which would you rather see? So as far as tone is considered how close to Four-Color do you want to be?
