Upon Cepheus' bolt, Quozen shrugs. Combat it is. He leaps into the tree.

Cepheus aim seems perfect and the bolt fly just over the shoulder of teh driver and end in the farmer's chest, who let out a cry. Cepheus, seeing the crossbowman aiming for him jump down the coach. As he land, he can't avoid to land on one of the lumber who roll under him and Cepheus finally end on his back, with a serious headache.

The bandits, seeing the hostility have started let there bolt flies. The two near Quozen aim on him and one got a serious shot on him and Quozen feel the pain. The other see his bolt gooing just too high over Quozen's head. As Quozen is near him, they draw there club, keeping their unloaded crossbow in there off-hand.

The two behind the boulder attack the only target they have in sight, but both bolt doesn't even touch the coach.

The coach's driver start to pray the gods that he will stay alive.

Quozen jump on the nearest bandit who just easily evade the attack, but making sure he is not grappled, he miss the monk with his club.

Bran shoot with his bow and miss widely.

Round 2:
Cepheus attacked and dodge to cover, missing barely his breaking fall attempt (took 5 subdual damage, as on a fall, you can always take teh first dice of damage as subdual, and is now prone and have cover form the crossbowmen on the left of the road.)
Bandit 1 attacked Quozen. Critical for 5 damages (only... lucky in his badluck )
Bandit 2 attack Quozen and miss with a natural 1.
Bandit 3 attack Bran and miss widely
Bandit 4 attack Bran and does no better
Bandit 1 miss his AoO.
The driver start to pray.
Quozen miss his grapple.

Delan doesn't move and stare at the bandits. The farmer, looking at Cepheus who has falen on the side of the coach, doesn't see the greasy and shimmering substance that sweat from the wooden log behind him. The log starts to turn on one of his end that is firm on the ground while the other end raise into the air and solidly strike the farmer.

"Damned adventurers!" He trust his sword into the chest of the driver who falls on the ground. "If you take care of him, he'll survive, but that mean you can't follow us. Retreat!" And the farmer starts to act as he told and move 30 feet away, asking some cover from some trees on the right side of the road.

The bandits behind the boulder shoot there bolt toward Bran. One end in the door, but the other end in his shoulder, giving him some pain. Both then starts to retreat, going away and keeping teh boulder as cover form Bran's shots.

The other two bandits take on Quozen. The first one is lucky and strikes him firm and the monk fall on the ground. The bandit doesn't wait anymore and start to run away. His companion escape with him, but keep a slow speed to stay near his companion.

[SBLOCK]Delan animate the log, who hit the farmer with 23 to attack and 11 damage!!!

The farmer stab the driver for 7 damage and move 30 feet. He has now partial cover form anyone on the road because of the trees.

One bandit hit but didn't confirm his critical with his crossbow, hitting Bran, even with his cover. The other miss, both escape 30 feets away. The have partial cover from Bran because the boulder is still on the way.

One bandits his with his club but miss to confirm his critical. He did 4 points of damage on Quozen. He then run away on 30 feet. The other followed and keep the same speed than his copanion, doing only 30 feet. Both have partial cover form the trees from anyone on the road.[/SBLOCK]

Cepheus will regain his feet and at seeing the bandits flee he will move to the driver. He looks bad, anyone good with healing? I have a scroll if any of you can cast from it to save the driver.

Cepheus then collects the farmers horse and if possible wagon unless it is too damaged to travel. In which case he will hook up the farmers horse to the coach and tie the injured horse to the back of the coach.

Bran shoots at the bandit that hit Quozen (1d20+2=9, 1d8=4), but misses.

 

[Velmont]

Cepheus stands up and move next to the driver. He looks at him, and his wound seems to bleed. At first sight, it is hard for him to tell if teh wound is mortal or not, but it seems to be too high to have touch the heart, but he is still breathing and he got an heart beat.

It is at that moment he hears Quozen falling on the ground. He spot him lifeless on the ground while his aggressor are fleeing. The driver continue to bleed in the arm of the gnome.

Bran shoot his arrow but it bounce on the boulder.

Delan draw an arrow from his quiver and put it on the string of his bow. With his perfect aim, his arrow fly straight and end in the leg of the farmer who let out a curse.

The farmer turns around and point an hand crossbow in direction of Delan. The bolt flies and miss teh target by far... until Delan hear the horse next to him. The horse has received the bolt and the pain is making him panicking and teh panick quickly spread to the other horses. The horse just in front of Cepheus arch and the gnome almost see the hoof falling on him.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Cepheus stoods up and moved next to the driver.
The bandits did tehre attack as told in the previous post.
Quozen couldn't act, he will try to stabilize on the bandit's turn.

Farmer hits the horse who is now panicking, just as the other three.

Realizing the bandits are not just running away but still shooting, Cepheus will reload his crossbow while moving to a position to fire at the farmer. If able he will attack and miss

 

[Velmont]

Cepheus who was kneeling at the driver's side stands up and shoot, but in his haste, miss the farmer. The bandits continue to flee getting far enough and with enough cover to be almost out of reach for the archers.

Quozen's continue to taint teh soil in red with his blood. The driver's blood flow seems to reduce, and it could be a good thing if it wasn't that the horses are now all panicking. Bran feels a shock and and falls on his seat as the wagon is suddenly pull with strength a short distance. Delan see the horse have make a viloent move foward and one hoof of an horse have fall just next top teh driver's head. The untied horse quickly move around and move a few feet aside of the road before stopping, feeling the pain in his leg.
