As Cepheus come to fall, Bran easily grands the small figure and pull it back on the bench. As he do that, it seems the unstable caoch doesn't botehr him, even when he is about to lose his balance, a bump help him to easily recover it.

The horses, starting to be tired, starts to slow down, and Cepheus can finally take again the control of the horses. The horse continue to travel in good speed, an hour later, Cepheus stop the coach just in front of the Roadwarden post.

Cepheus replies to the man. Are you the roadwarden? We were attacked by bandits twice along this road. We left them about an hour back. We also have two companions back at a farmhouse too severely injured to travel.

"Wait a second" tells the men who seems more a stableboy than a patrolman. A few moment later, someone else get out and come to you. "A bandit attack you he told me? What do he looks like?" ask the men. By his uniform, you suppose he is an officier. After listening his description you give him, he nods. "Mirnot. He was capture two years ago, but he escaped last month. He is an highwaymen who has been very active and he seems he decided to restart his business. We will send patrol on the road. If you can tell us where are your wouded friends, we will take care to bring them back to Orussus and also question them to coroborate your version. If you want, I can send two men to escort you up to Orussus.

But before you go, do you have any guess why he decided to attack you?" the officer eyes stop on the chest on the top. "What are you carrying? Can I take a look?"

I would rather not open the chest. It is to be delivered to Orussus this night. It is only some metals for the forge, but is my first job at the smithy and do not wish to disappoint my employer.

Cepheus is now getting suspicious why the officer would want to look in the chest.

I think we shall be ok for the rest of the road to Orussus. Cepheus then goes on to describe the farmhouse location in hopes that the roadwarden is going to help the driver and Quozen.

You should met them tomorrow at teh temple of Hyrag, I'll send them there. Just wait a minute." The officer turn around and make a sign. "I'll send two men with you, to make sure you arrive safely. Also, you should take a look at that horse, it seems pretty badly hurt."

Five minutes later, ten men get out of the stable. Eight take the road to Fallon while two come to you. "We will escort you. From what I overheard, I think you earn a quiet trip." tells one of the rider.

Cepheus relaxes a bit. Thank you, we had a couple close calls. We are in a bit of a hurry. Perhaps we can bandage the horse some before we go though.

The group head down the road escorted by the two riders. When they finally arrive in Orussus, the night have fallen for over an hour. Two guards are guarding the gate. As you approach the gate, teh guards make a sign to stop. The rider salute the guard and turn to Cepheus. "You are arrived, we are off. Good night!" Both riders turn around and leave.

Cepheus replies sure I suppose. We are just carrying some forge materials to Master Stonebender. He is waiting for this delivery and I am late, I was expected before nightfall but we were attacked on the road. I fell off the coach during the attack and my head still rings with pain. This is my first task for my new employer Master Stonebender and I do not want to give a bad impression to him.
