Difficult to build race/class combos

Would anyone try a dwarf wizard? The bonus to wisdom is great for an orb implement, and you have that extra CON for hp. Also, your second wind is a minor action, that's like 6hp and a +2 to defenses once per combat.

I think a dwarf wizard would have to be able to hold his own in melee. Put at least 13 into str and con (which is pretty easy with racial mods) and you can get up to scale armor (no movement penalty thanks to your racial trait) or just stick with hide if your int is high enough.

Give him a warhammer or some such weapon, and take armor proficiency feats as they become available.
