The subject of this post was brought to me today. I don't remember who brought it up, but I remembered doing writing assignments on it in school many years ago. My wife asked me for my list and said, "Hey, you should ask this over on that forum you read every day." So, I am doing that. Now, I am not trying to go into any of the forbidden topics or get into a debate about why, so here are the rules:
You are having a dinner/party/gathering and can invite any 10 people that are living today. Who would you invite? List the ten people. They can be anyone alive, famous or not (fame is relative, after all). Do not explain why you would invite them and please do not criticize anyone else's choices or ask them to justify them. Just write your guest list.
My list consists of rpg personalities, actors, writers, etc. I will get the ball rolling. Please note that my list will probably change tomorrow, this reflects my conversational desires today. Here they are in no particular order (some of the names on my list read here, so please don't be offended or whatever):
Dr. Phil McGraw - TV personality
Garrison Keillor - author, radio host
Stephen King - author
Michael Moore - writer, etc.
Gary Gygax - rpg designer
Dave Arneson - rpg designer
Eric Noah - editor, writer
M. Night Shyamalan - writer, director, producer
Bernard Cornwell - author
Jim Carrey - actor, comedian
No justification or rationale will be provided. There is my list. Who would be on yours?
