D&D 3E/3.5 Dire Animals Redux V.3.5

Excellent critter, like a lion/cat crossbreed. I would even say that CR could be 1½ if needs be (could slice and dice an Orc any day).

Moooommm.... can I keep it? It followed me home and its sooooo cute...

....OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOD, It's got me by the ankles AHHHHHHHH, MOOOOOOOOOM SAVE ME AGHHHHHHHHHHH*Gurgle gurgle*

Ver nice creature though

Well, thank y'all for your comments :D

Clay: I like to think of it as in the upper end of the CR 1 spectrum, with the orc in the lower end. :D

hehehe, I am still having bad dreams after that Dire Baboon. Could you guys imagine the enormous, red butt such a creature would have? It would be like a world-devouring butt.

Anyways, whats your next project Mr. Nath?

Well, I lied, it's sunday :p

Anyways, here it is, the Dire Cheetah.

Dire Cheetahs are also sometimes called King Cheetahs, due to their size and speed.
A dire cheetah looks much like it’s smaller cousin, although it is larger, and has a more feral look about it.
A Dire Cheetah can be summoned by Summon Natures Ally IV.

Combat:
Dire Cheetahs try to use their overwhelming speed to drop a foe as quickly as possible.
Trip (Ex): A dire cheetah that hits with a bite or claw attack can attempt to trip the opponent (+11 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of oppertunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to reip the dire cheetah.
Sprint (Ex): Once per hour, a dire cheetah can move ten times it’s normal speed (800’) when it makes a charge.

Comments and Critizism is welcome. :D

That's one fast putty-cat Kris, on the Dire Cat would that be about the size of a Maine Coon or would a Boston Pirate Cat be more on that scale ?

That's pretty big, Krish. The NJ Wharf Rats are advanced dire rats, right? I'm liking the new dire animals, especially the king cheetah. Nice reference to obscure biology.

I'm just waiting for the dire dinosaurs (they are animals now...)

Demiurge out.

Wait, that's right! Dino's are animals now! <Insert Evil Grin Here>

Also, the King Cheetah line is actually a reference to Magic: the Gathering :D
