Dire Rats

Actually, my experience shows them as very weak. Then again, I suppose that some of my encounters with them have been kind of "tacticaly advantageous". For instance, in the scene in the Sunless Citadel, I stayed on the rope and shot them with a crossbow.

The player in my game never got that chance since he didn't see the buggers. I think they have like a +14 to Hide or something and they had high rolls while his was low. Against a suprised rogue in leather armor, they're tough. Against anyone in heavy armor, they're nothin' at all.

In the game I just started, the sorc2/monk1 has a set of Pipes of the Sewers. This thread brings a smile to my face.
