Disarm with Double Weapon

What is the modifier when a character wielding a quaterstaff attempts to disarm small longsword wielding halfling:

1.) Using staff twohanded: +4 (two-handed weapo)+4 (size difference)
2.) Using main end: +0 (weapon used one-handed) +4 (size difference)
3.) Using off-hand end: -4 (light weapon) +4 (size difference)

or

1.) All cases: +4 (two-handed weapon) +4 (size difference)

All cases 1). The only difference consists in the useage as twohanded or double weapon (cause you hit worse while using it as double weapon).

Yes but what happens when the quarterstaff wielder attacks with his primary end and then tries to disarm with the secondary end?

What happens if the quarterstaff wielder attacked with both ends during the round and is now attempting a disarm as an AoO?

Slim

Case 1) was already answered...

Case 2) If he fought with both ends (using the q-staff as doubleweapon) this round, then he'll only get his strength mod to damage. If he attacked with the q-staff as twohanded weapon, then he would get 1.5 times his strength mod.

What I was trying to ask was: If using double weapon, do you gain the disarm modifier as using a two-handed weapon (with only drawback being -2 to hit if TWF feat)?

Only if you have been using the weapon to attack twice.

That is: the weapon may be considered two-handed if that's the way you used it last round.

or

the weapon is considered a double weapon, if that's the way you were using it last round.
