As I read it, you can't use Stone Shape to create MW anything.
"While it’s possible to make crude coffers, doors, and so forth with stone shape, fine detail isn’t possible." (from the Stone Shape spell description.)
If you want to create something with that level of fine detail, you would need to use Fabricate.
"You must make an appropriate Craft check to fabricate articles requiring a high degree of craftsmanship." (from the Fabricate spell description.)
In that case, the "appropriate" Craft check is whichever one is specified to create the item from scratch (e.g. Craft (Weaponsmith) to create a MW greatclub).

Since we realy no longer need to close threads after 1200 posts, I'm going to instead try a new tactic that should make finding things a bit easier. There will be a '08 version of the Tavern and General discussion threads, and each year we can make a new one. Hopefully, that will keep things fairly easy to find if you remember what year you were discussing it.
