Hmmm. The earth's surface area is just slightly less than 200 million square miles.

The Enworld disc is 25000 miles in diameter according to the wiki. If so, then the surface area is 490 million-ish square miles, almost 2.5 times the size of the earth (and so 5 to 6 times the land area). On the other hand, the Sairundan crew are 2400 miles from home - and they look to be nearly one-third of the way to the edge of the disc. If the diameter is only 15000 miles, then the area is indeed about 80% of earth's.
Holy cow, you're right! I must've... I don't know what I did. Well, Enworld is pretty huge then. Increasing the size of the Great Sea might mean moving Orussus. It's always been at the center of the world, do we want to change that? On the other hand, on this scale, even a "small island" would be a continent by Earth's standards.

And regarding the Sairundan crew: That dot is somewhat inaccurate, you're about 2000 miles from Orussus but you haven't traveled in a straight line (you went south for a while, then SW). After some approximate measurements, that still makes the world 25000 miles in diameter. The last dot is the city of Helatia, at which you have yet to arrive. Helatia is 3147.5 miles (again, not as the bird flies but as the Cludge trudges) from Orussus.

I've got no problem with a revision of distances.

Seriously, a months travels to get to some places that are "close" to orussus? I realize Teleports are eventualy available, but even travel like that was tedius when we needed it (needed 4 to get somewhere still on the first 2 maps)

Weapon Question

Has the maul - a two-handed hammer - been added to the ENworld rules set? The only source I have for it is the Arms and Equipment Guide.

Does a short sword count as a small longsword and a longsword as a small greatsword for the small folks?

Without a house rule, no, and I don't think we house ruled this.

Does anyone have anything going on in the city of Brimbor, which appears to be part of the Medibarian empire? More to the point, do I mess up anybody's game much if I burn it to the ground? *Tries to look inocent.*

Not that i know of but you could wield the warhammer in two hands and add double str bonus to dam.

That's what I'm doing now, but it isn't solving all my problems.
And it's too subtle.

I don't. And after a brief search of the Wiki and the forum, I don't think anybody would mind if it was wiped off the map. =D
