Whew! Miss a few days and suddenly the thread grows by three pages...
Sorry for me recent absence, but I, like CS, am at home with internet access that is... interesting, at best. I'll try to make it around a bit more now that the holidays are (mostly) over, but I won't be around as much as I'd like until I get back to my DSL connection on January 18th, or there abouts.
As for gunpowder, I fell that it can be used in a limited fashion, since any PC using it on the contenent is going to have problems with the local law inforcement. Also, as for a nation using gunpowder, I don't think that gunpowder, as presented is outragously powerfull, and would be to costly to be effected. Regradless, i am starting to like the idea of going core rulebooks only, using only what us available from the SRD, with players contributing locations and background, but not rules. Really, its up to everybody else, but I am starting to appreciate the idea of going core only.
And yes, I did vote to approve one of the new core classes, but in part that was just to get some input from the other judges. Since I couldn't think of any way to improve it, and there hadn't been any judge input in a while, I thought it best to afford the benefit of a doubt and give my approval.
And, thanks a ton to Uriel for holding the fort, so to speak.I don't know what would happen without uriel around to keep us in line...
