(Curses in Goblin)

At the very least, the game started 8 months ago <800XP>. I know that you folks earned another 200XP ata bare minimum, so go ahead and Level your characters to 2nd. I will go back through (again) and try and figure out a fair tangible amount.

Thanks, Uriel... Sorry if I was being a bit pissy about it. :o

Anyway, Jack's leveled up... It seems he's learned a little bit about proper fighting techniques from his association with Quickwhip and Lady Fant. He's also gotten a bit better at sneaking about, but he certainly learned that lesson the hard way.

The help is much appreciated, Uriel. If it helps, the only actual combat we peformed (other than Jack getting koshed by a pair of slaves, presumably commoner 1) was fighting an animated suit of armor, which couldn't have been much worse than CR 1, 2 at the most and at least 1/2.

Yeah... Too bad, Jack's entire captive encounter was done over email, and is probably lost to the record. Though, come to think of it, it's probably better that way. :uhoh: ;)

Is it safe to assume that we all miraculously find our way back to the Inn?

I have done up a little of the area surrounding Orussus. It can be found here. I don't think I am stepping on anyones toes as from what I understand Scorpio is working on a map of the whole world. My map is just a small part of it.

You can also look up a site I made dedicated to the development of the setting. It is the Living ENWorld Library. The page is a Wiki which is a little different from what most people are used to. Its part web page and part message board. Anyone can edit any page so you can add your own comments to anything on the site.

That is really excellent, especially for people like me who are just arriving on the scene. I tried reading through the threads to figure this stuff out, but its not easy, and many of the links are dead, etc. Would it be possible for whoever makes the decisions around here to have this thing stickied? Or post parts of it as a stickied thread? Or something? I may not be the only one who wants to play but hasn't been deeply involved in the discussions/creation from the beginning. Then again, maybe I am.

That is an excellent Map, GK. I wish that I had the proper tools for something like that. If I may ask, what software did you use?
Dreams of setting my Home campaign to actual rendered maps (my drawn ones ar OK, but still...) fill my mind.

I used AutoRealm. It is an open source program. The main page is http://www.gryc.ws/autorealm.htm. Its not the best mapping software out there, the interface can be quirky at times, but it works (( and its free :) ))

I feel you. The problem is that I think only Macbeth can edit his posts on the faq thread. And he is having computer connection problems. LEW is still growing and changing. The judges are working to organize everything. I havn't been here from the begining. When I did find this forum I lurked for a long time.

Hey PBartender: are you still interesting in making a website? We should combine our forces. Drop me a line at thefirsttheonetheonly_dglass@yahoo%blarg%.com without the blarg

Hi, I just came to officially resign as a player. Sorry to Creamsteak and the other players in the game that I didn't post for a long time without warning. Life got busy and I got out of the habit of posting. I like the site, and if this summer or some other time in the future I have enough time to guarantee regular posting I may come back. Good luck, all!

Uriel (or any other judge that takes an interest)-

Fant's levelled up, too. Ditto on Jack's question about assuming we're back (Fant will just enter the inn in a few days, assuming no-one objects). Also- how much money should we assume to have gotten? Jack got his hand on a +1 short sword. The orginal offer of pay was 500 gold pieces, which Fant would be just fine with. Coming back empty-handed would be cool too. Gives Fant a reason to storm in to the Red Dragon Inn pissed off, which is always a good roleplay opportunity. :)
