Give 'em a few more days. Mostly, what the check is about is to see that your character conforms to the rules as pertaining to game mechanics (ability scores within range, right number of skill points, feat prequisites met, that sort of thing). Unless you sent your background along in your email, don't expect any mention of that.

Again, no reason your character can't hang out at the Red Dragon while you're waiting for approval.

Yup, and of all the character classes that people try to submit, I'm guessing that "Rouge" makes them less likely to want to read it over soon; at least it would for me. I guess I just don't like make-up ;)

Can a monk pull a punch, so to speak, and deal a smaller die of damage than a full strike? Say, if your in a barfight and you dont want to kill or knock out someone on the first hit? 2d10 will level most people, after all.

I don't believe there's nothing that covers it, RAW. You'd probably end up doing nonlethal damage. It'd probably be a GM call.

I don't think any monk here would be doing that for a while, though.

I think the character judges are understanding enough of spelling errors. A simple reminder, and it's not a big deal. It doesn't take that long to check a character, I don't think, so they usually have pretty quick responses no matter what errors there are.

A monk can strike for non-lethal damage with no penalty with his unarmed strike.

Well, that was part of fuzzy's question - they'll still likely to be knocked out by subdual damage. I'd be inclined to say that a character can always take a penalty to a roll, though that's just a gut reaction.

As you may have noticed, I moved most deities to the pantheon thread, except Shural, KaziKazi (they'd need a little rewrite to stand alone), and the Mortalists (philosophy, not deity). I'll also add some material to the heap thread.

Kahuna Burger - Can you please check the spell I (KO) posted earlier? I'm not sure if it is the final version.

Spelling has never meen my strong point (Nor has color coardination)

No worries; I'm sure you won't have a problem. All I meant is that the misspellings and such may have slowed them down on the evaluation process.
