Ah, I didn't even venture to these PbP forums until about 1500 posts and over a month of posting on others, but I've had some fun here since I did. I started off with LEW, but then I even found people who are willing to use my odd variant Neospelljamming setting, and so I've started to GM as well.

I think I've seen you recruiting but I don't even know what spelljamming is. Much less Noespelljamming. Even less of an odd variant of such.

But your averaging 30 posts-a-day or so, I couldn't keep up a pace like that if I tried. Not with two jobs and my slow typing

(55 posts per day ) My variant has lots of new races and classes and such...still, you're right that if you have little time, then something like LEW where you know they're only basically using the core SRD rules might be for you

All right, What I'm looking forward to are adventures that don't die and a character I can keep.

Had I know I was going to enjoy it this much(even without an adventure) I woulda been paying more attention all those months ago

Well these adventures in LEW look they do die with a decent frequency, but you always get to keep the character. As to my variants, they are heavily-inspired by Unearthed Arcana--I basically was so inspired by that book that I made up 60 new classes using its variants and some more of my own invention

It's not adventures dying as much as them not starting in the first place from what it seems....

Spelljamming is an awesome old second-edition concept that creates basically a magical version of outer space called Wildspace based on Aristotelian physical beliefs and a few neat twists. This allows people from multiple prime material worlds to fly around on normal sailing vessels outfitted with magical "Spelljamming Helms" and meet up with fascinating people and creatures from other worlds. If you Google "Spelljammer" I'm sure you'll find lots of stuff
