Discussions on d20 supers...

Godlike is a d20 Superhero system. If it weren't specifically focused on superheroes during World War II, I'd be more interested in it.

I'm pretty sure I remember picking that book up all eager and wide eyed. "Godlike?!" I said to myself, "suh-weet!!". I picked it up and thumbed through it.

Then I got kind of bummed out. It's based on using probably the lamest die in all of roleplaying: the d10. I really don't like game based on d10s, and Godlike is one of them. Now, if you don't mind d10s, Godlike might be cool. I'm out of luck there.

Their comics in Dragon were so cool too. Damn.

Under D20 would Superman have a 486543 Strength or something along those lines. Just think of the BAB!
Last I checked I had something like 379 strength which means I can max press just over 541,200 billion billion tons.

According to some tinkering I did earlier in my attempts to create a D20 Supers Game (still working on it). Superman would have a Str of 129 or so (this is a conversion from his stats in DC Heroes or MEGS).

A couple of things, real quick, while I try to type the following around my cat:

1) Godlike - it has it's own system, which I've heard good things about, but there is a d20 conversion in the back.

2) In case it hasn't been mentioned in the thread listed above, there's another company releasing a new superhero game I'm really excited about. Guardians of Order, whose Tri-Stat system appears in Big Eyes, Small Mouth, their Anime fan line, Ghost Dog, and others, is releasing Silver Age Sentinals this summer using the Tri-Stat system. One month after their home system is released, they are issuing a d20 Silver Age Sentinals. GoO does some great stuff, and from what I've seen of the Playtest files (Tri-Stat only), it looks sweet. I'm betting the d20 version's good too. :D
