Outright deletion is a Morrus thing.

So you are aware, Morrus holds to the GDPR standard for this - if your account is deleted, that means that your personal information is deleted. Your e-mail, username, IP address, and so on.

That doesn't extend to the content of your posts. You own them, and may delete the content if you wish, but they don't go automatically with the account, if that is what you are looking for. After account deletion, they would appear, text as is, but with "GuestXYZ" as the user associated with them.

@Scribe

I take back what I said about your new avatar.

Seriously, though, if I can impart one piece of advice, it's this- don't do it. Take a break. If you need to, ask a moderator to give you a ban for a while (I think they can do that) so you know you won't come back.

But the strife of today isn't the issue of tomorrow, and every sailor knows that if you weather the storm, you will eventually be back to good winds.

In other words- take a break, and don't be hasty.

Not that Scribe needs to do this, but for general information, yes, we can ban a person for a predetermined period, if they want an enforced break. And no, a request for such wouldn't be strange - we've done so a few times over the years.
