Divine Champion PrC (FRCS)

Ok, the Divine Champion has a few CHA based abilities, and I plan on having my character eventually take this PrC. The abilities are as follows:

1) Lay on Hands: 1 point/level + CHA bonus
2) Smite Infidel: CHA bonus added to attack roll, 1 damage/level
3) Divine Wrath: +3 Attack/Damage/Saves = Number of rounds equal to CHA bonus

My problem is that my character has a 6 CHA. Now, does the 6 count as -2, or as 0? What about Divine Wrath? Is that ability available at all to my character?

A bonus is a positive modifier.

You add your Cha bonus to XX.

With 6 Cha, your Cha modifier is -2.

Your Cha modifier is not positive.

You have no positive modifier.

You have no bonus.

You therefore add no bonus to XX.

I'd check the errata, I believe they changed it to 1 point / level X Cha

Where do I check for official errata?

Also, since I have a CHA penalty, am I correct in assuming that abilities #1 & 2 work just fine (no negatives), but ability # 3 is not available to this character?

#2 works just fine.

#3 lasts for 0 rounds, so it's useless.

#1 - if what you posted is right, it's fine. If Janos is right about the errata, you're out of luck.

Change "1 point of damage per divine champion level plus her Charisma bonus"

To "1 point of damage per divine champion level times her Charisma bonus"

Well, you either should have put more puts in charisma and less in strength. Or you should buy a cloak of charisma +6 so your charisma is now a 12.

Well, bad-mannered or timid characters make bad champions. Champions are very much at the lines of the paladin, after all
