Divine Prowess

I've fiddled with the idea of creating a continuation to Divine Might, and I submit it for your critique.

------------------------
Divine Prowess (Divine)

You can channel even more divine power into your melee strikes increasing the damage you deal in combat.

Prereqs: Str 13, Cha 15, BAB +12, Turn or Rebuke undead ability, Power Attack, Divine Might.

Benefit: As a free action, spend one of your turn or rebuke undead attempts to add you charisma bonus to your weapon damage for half your charisma bonus in rounds (rounded down). In addition, you gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls as the divine energy guides your weapon.

Normal: Without Divine Prowess, your bonus damage from Divine Might lasts for one full round and does not convey an attack bonus.
--------------------------

It's a bit of a throw back to 3.0 Divine might which lasted for your full charisma bonus in rounds. I figured that full charisma bonus in rounds might be rather strong, but only half your charisma bonus wasn't really worth taking for a feat, hence the +1 attack bonus.
I put in the bab restriction to keep it from being gained what I thought might be too early.

It could potentially be very powerful. By level 12 a paladin could easily have a 22 charisma meaning he could spend 1 turn attempt for +6 damage/+1 attack for 3 rounds. For most battles he'd only need to spend 1-3 or his 9 turn attempts in order to gain the benefits for the battles entire length (as opposed opposed to 1 turn attempt per round) for about 4 of the battles in a day.

I don't think the BAB prerequisite to keep people from taking it too early is necessary as the feat will only be a real improvement at higher levels when your charisma is +18

IMO if you simply think divine might is a good then you probably think this feat is fine, if you think divine might is a very good/must have feat already you'll probably find this feat overpowered and if you think divine might is overpowered obviously you'll hate this.

What I was really thinking with the Bab requirement was keeping clerics from taking it too early, since a Cleric could take Divine Might at 3rd level if they really wanted to, and then Divine Prowess at 6th. If I drop the bab requirement to 9, then a Paladin could take it at 9th, and a cleric couldnt take it till 12th. Would that be acceptable?

Yeah high charisma is what makes the feat shine, but is there anything wrong with that? If the duration was changed to full charisma bonus/ rounds that would be too much, no? Basing the duration on level/ 3 would make it a minimum duration 3 rounds for a paladin, and 4 rounds for a cleric, would that be a better solution? Although at 18th you'd be getting 6 rounds out of it which would be like having a 34 charisma if we go with charisma/ 2.

Any have any thoughts on the matter?
