DM or GM?

GM...I find the term Dungeon Master to be a little too geeky for me

I put neither, but not because I don't like the terms, but because I really don't care... DM, GM, Storyteller... whatever, it all amounts to the same thing, really.

DM, GM, Storyteller, Keeper of Arcane Knowledge, Director, GOD, whatever. I prefer GM for normal usage.

Both. The prefix "Most Holy" or "All Powerful" is added before when required.

use DM myself even in other games without thinking about it i know GM is more genric but just never felt right tryed useing it a few times but kept saying DM soi just stuck with it

I thought it stood for 'GabeMeister'.


I tend to use DM for fantasy and GM for everything else, but I'm not terribly consistent. To me, they are interchangeable. I never use anything else, though. And 'Storyteller' always struck me as unbearably pretentious.
