DMF Campaign Announcement/Question

well, I'd obviously fill the role of rogue, and we have another rogue who posted earlier, so were in different parties.... And dwarf fighter man is cool, he could be in this group, so we'd need cleric/wizard type people, full casters in other words...

Bac to RPland:

I looked around the tavern, noting all the exits, the people armed, and the most skilled looking of the people, I took special note of one particular dwarf, seemingly dressed for some impending battle, and I noticed that he was fondling two round, shiny, remarkably coin-like, objects...

I looked down, seeing the golden-yellow, clear, and clean halfling ale that I had ordered, I plopped the payment down on the table, walking over to the dwarf, drink in hand. "Couldn't help noticing you'r low on the dough." I said, looking knowingly at his two coins, "Stick with me, you won't find the need to worry about money..." I took a seat at his table, slamming my drink down, and watching the ale slosh down onto the table.

Zanis: I look up to see who's talking, then down to see the halfling pulling up next to me. "Oh, hello there fella." noting that my new friend is a halfling, I subconsciously drift a hand over my belt pouch to make sure it's still there ... but something about his confidence and smile make me relax.

"Well, I er ... wouldn't exactly say low on dough ... but, uh ... well I am hoping for a bit of adventure. Soon. The name is Zanis Hammersing. I'm strong and I've got a good axe and if ye got the ear for it, I can also sing ya some tales of dwarven glory. Tell ya what, park it over here on that stool and ya can tell me what ya got in mind, uh ... Mr. uh ..."

I look at the dwarf, listening carefully to his speech, while I took a long swig of my ale. "I'm Whitemantle, Leon Whitemantle, and aye erm a wanderer, aye have no rea' home in which to hang this hat hat, I am skilled in what some would call thievery, but aye prefer the term "If their stupid enough to be easy to rob, they deserve it" but I don't like stealin', I prefer honor-able methods to gain monies, like street performing (begging) or even serving as a sit in shopkeeper (keeping a little of the profit)."

(the parenthesis is implied, not actually said)
"The only adventure I offer is chance, luck, and the occasional trusure map" I finished, taking another, shorter, swig of my ale.

No preference here, as long as the groups are balanced. (Also, preference would be to not have any major personality/alignment clashes. Otherwise my character may have to be driven to the point of insanity and turn CE. She doesn't much like people when it's not convenient, remember?)

Now we just have to wait for CE....for any who didn't read my spoiler, the annual geek convention is in town and Xen, CE, and I will probably be short on posts.
Or at least I can speak for myself, I'm not sure about the other two.
Oh no tiny Kitten Lady, you were absolutly correct.

Slightly confused: has this place been opened as a RP zone for the GMF campaign? And what has happened since (that is if it was moved) ithas moved here?

And as for the Splitting up of the teams... meh, Gilburtus would probably stick with the simingly calmest members of the group. As for RL Xen, that fool dosn't really care.

Yeah idk about the RPing up there, we haven't restarted yet I'm assumign they are doing it for kicks right now....

Alright I'll try to split the group later this afternoon takign into account all the factors

The first post was just sort of an 'in character' *poke*, but MrGR picked up on it and we're just having fun with it. Didn't expect to get busted for role-playing in a non-RP zone. :p
