Amazon has the following blurb up for the Dungeon Master's Guide 2:

Product Description
A source of inspiration for Dungeon Masters of any level

This core rulebook for the Dungeons & Dragons® Roleplaying Game features advice and rules for Dungeon Masters of all levels of experience, with a particular focus on running adventures and campaigns in the paragon tier (levels 11—20). It includes advanced encounter-building tools (including traps and skill challenges), storytelling tips to bring your game to life, new monster frameworks to help you craft the perfect villain, example campaign arcs, a comprehensive look at skill challenges, and a detailed “home base” for paragon-tier adventurers–the interplanar city of Sigil.

*Drools* That is awesome. Fallcrest in the first was pretty comprehensive, so Sigil getting the same treatment is great. This will tie me over quite well if we ever get Planescape setting, Sigil is all I need :P

Also fun to see more Skill Challenge stuff, always like seeing new and interesting ways to use them.

Anybody else have the sinking feeling that DMG 3 will feature Union?

I'm not sure that'd be a horrible thing.

*Ducks thrown fruit*

Wait! Hear me out!

Union's problems, IMO, were in the execution, not the underlying concept. So I think it could work.

However, that said, if we're going to see a "home base city" for the epic tier in DMG3, I'd personally vote for the City of Brass. :D

So far, so good, for 4e cribbing from old Planescape stuff, so I've got some good expectations for it.

Pretty exciting. Perhaps I can PS4e and learn to tolerate this edition yet... :)

Very, very interesting. [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Dungeon-Masters-Guide-Core-Rulebook/dp/078695244X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1230947887&sr=8-1"]Here's the linkey[/ame] for the search-weary. Due on September 15, 2009.

Let's see, starting new 4e campaign on January 17th, every two weeks, so that's about 8 months and 16-18 sessions before that book arrives.... just in time to get ready for paragon play!
