DMG2- will its rules appear in the SRD?

I was thinking that UA is open content, and it would make sense to make some of the rules in the DMG2 at least available in the SRD.

Yeah well I was hoping the same deal for say, Draconomicion, the Complete Series (feats, classes, and spells. Pr-classes I can live without) and possibly Races series. So far it doesn't look like that's happening...

I like how most of the modern stuff makes it to the modern SRD. Looking forward to seeing past and cyberpunk appear there. Makes dropping laser guns and weird modern vehicles into D&D much easier! (I have always wanted my players to find a tank!)

I really think that the days of the SRD being updated are over.

I'd like to get my hands on some of the mechanical concepts in the DMG2, but I don't think it's going to happen.

I so need to buy that book. Too bad I've got no credit card ATM(At the Moment not Automatic Teller Machine. :p ).

I doubt it, wizards seems to have really stopped updating the thing

Yeah I think the days of adding to the SRD are very much in the past.

Wizards never intended to add the splatbooks and setting books to the SRD. The only things they've added to the SRD are major rule sets like psionics and epic levels. After all, the SRD isn't meant to give away all their books to us for free. It's meant to be a framework to allow other publishers to publish compatible books without legal hassles.

I haven't actually looked at the DMG2 so I don't know how much it has in the way of new rules (that are significantly different - not just new magic items etc.). If there isn't much of that, I'm sure they won't bother adding it to the SRD.
