Olaf the Stout said:I don't have a player's guide for my campaign but I do have House Rules and Table Rules that I give to each player to read before they start. Them actually reading them in another thing entirely! A bit sad considering that there is only 1 page of House Rules and 4 pages of Table Rules.Note: If any of the House or Table Rules look familiar it is because I stole a lot of them from fellow EN Worlders!

Because my map is hand drawn just for me at the moment. I do not have the fancy map drawing software, and I have neither the time nor inclination to learn one. I am moving some of the party activity to the Wilderlands of High Fantasy, so I will have maps there.Emirikol said:I'm surprised more of you aren't putting a world or regional map in your campaign/HR books. Any reason why not?
I have been officially out-geeked. I need to show this to my players to prove it. I have to figure out where to put mine, since it is too large to upload here.el-remmen said:EDIT: It was too large to upload - so here is a link to it: http://www.aquerra.com/SecondSon/SSoaSS_Players_Guide.pdf

You've got a great set of house and table rules. The format was plain. Without changing any verbage, I put it into a sample alternative format with a simple graphic (it's just for ideas, I'm not telling you what to do or anything). I just thought the graphic was cool anywaysMaybe it will give you some ideas.

P.s. the graphic is from: http://images.google.com/imgres?img...firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&sa=N

Setting the House Rules out under various headings seems to improve the readability of the document too. Good job.Olaf the Stout

I give my players color printed, comb-bound copies of my book. This way they have no excuses for not printing it out. Plus, I like using my Xerox Subsidy at work.Emirikol said:One bit of advice: usage of color means that you're having your players eating up their printer cartridges. Although it makes for a more beautiful product, I don't put that burden on my players.
Thoughts?
