Hmm... they never said it wasn't for that either. However they all got legal threats for saying bad things about the phb...

so if a cop fines you for speeding but never says that it was not for theft or drug possession or whatever then we cannot rule it out that you were fined for those?

They got ‘legal threats’ for posting what WotC considered too many pages from the book in their reviews, that is what they were contacted over, heck, their reviews were not even negative to begin with so having that as a reason is just nonsense

Or it could be your own biases at play. Either way that statement wasn't questioned just because it was negative... it was questioned beause the statement insinuated that something should be assumed true because it wasn't outright stated as false... which is just faulty logic.

"The accuser" is just the person making the claim. It can be positive or negative, and either should be subject to the same level of scrutiny by that metric.
