Twisted, Duthayer wants to make a Knowledge (nobility) check to be certain Lord Leon Darendaal is indeed a legitimate lord, and what he usually charges for road tax.

Duthayer recollects that Lord Darendaal is in fact a local lord and he's pretty sure that the taxes are as follows: Beast tax - 1gp per animal. Wheel tax - 1gp per wheel on any wagon. Sword tax - 1 gp per bladed weapon longer than two feet.
