DnD 3.5 Prophet's Blood

It's a flaw. It means that if we die and someone wants to resurrect us, he will have some bad time, as it would be difficult: our soul is so struck by the beauty of the Last Voyage, that it doesn't want to come back.

About the males versus females, you have to understand something.
Culturally, biologically, and mentally, Women are generally better at taking care of kids than men.
Women can fight, but they weren't really made to. Not saying that circumstances couldn't make them. The Good Lord made men and women different. Not better than one another, but just different. There are, of course, exceptions to everything, but men and women are not the same, both mentally and physically. However, both have equal salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the only really important thing.

Culturally, in the Medieval times, women were generally kept at home. Women can birth children, men can't. In war times, they wanted women to have babies so they could have more soldiers and to replenish the fallen. On a politically correct note (Hate how our culture pussy-foots around the issues with this phrase), women are not any worse fighters than men. women just generally live different lifestyles than men, and develop different muscles and attitudes. There's nothing to say a women couldn't make a warrior. However, biologically, she might have some problems during her period and definitely if she were to get pregnant.

As to Catrin, this response would be natural, especially in most male-dominated societies, which, unfortunately, Medeival times were.

Yes, it would be a natural responce for Ildym. Even if he lived nowdays: he is not politicaly correct and he won't like the concept, if someone tries to explain it to him :P

SolosAddie: I'll handle all rolls, declare your actions and I'll tell you if you hit, crit, or fell an opponent. And please, keep the OOC over here!

So what you're saying in short Paper is that woman should just stay in the kitchen? lol jk jk, but I do have to agree with you on this. Matter of fact, I had this same discussion with a friend who was over about why women were better about taking care of babies than men were just because their bodies were diferent. Not to say men can't be great fathers, just woman were built to be mothers, in ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Yep! You can see the same thing all over the animal kingdom with very few exceptions. Now, I do not beleive in any way are we animals, nor do I like how evolutionists keep saying we are, but there seems to be a recurring thing.
Now, if you would also look at the bear. A mother is often a fiercer sight than a male when her babies are in danger. Something to think about.
