You'd have to roll a spot check for an exact number, since things escalated over a matter of seconds. At first glance, from your position at the back of the square, it's around a dozen or so men (well some are women really). Two groups of 6-7 to be precise. The Paladins are rushing trough the crowd, so it's not likely to last long.

BTW yes the birthday bonus lasts until your character rests. And i'd appreciate it if everyone mentioned it even if just with a few words. Sure it's a gift and not something by the book, but i'm keener on things being roleplayed out rather than being by the book.. See HM and cheshire_grin's way of doing it.

Now i know there is no point in waiting for wywsyg as he is MIA at the moment (plus his assassin type character does not want to stand out anyway) and hellrazor111 is a bit slow on the posting, and he is the only one communicating with Bran.

BTW hellrazor your character is outside Angelwatch - at the South Gate. The events with the paladin/wizard etc. are happening inside the town, at the main plaza. You're about half a mile from there, and the city walls make it impossible to see anything from the ground. Just a heads up, since you wrote that the rest went off to talk with the paladin and mage.

So if we don't wait for Maximus, i believe there's only HM to post and i can update again.

Latham would've made certain your character was within the AoE. He's just that kinda guy

Well it covers a 10 ft spread only, but your character did go smack in the middle of things. We'll see who it covers after i post the update

Actually, I hate to disagree, but the 10 ft radius means it covers a 20 ft spread. You pick a spot and it's 10 ft out from all sides.

Hmm yes i meant the same thing, but used spread in the wrong way. 10 foot radius = 20 feet diameter. So yeah he is caught in it (and some paladins as well, although they are probably making their saves).
