I imagine at least one child is from our reality, but most of them are no-humans, even a kender. They go to a domain of delight (Witchlicht) and almost all them will return to home in the end of the season. The adventures will be not only in that domain, but also they have to explore other worlds, and at least one of these will be Gamma World.

The host will be Fizban, and our main characters have got a secret than even themself unknown. They are the reincarnation of regreted villains (not even they died, but transformed into babies and sent to othe world). They are recruited because Vecna has caused troubles in different places. For example he hide magic cursed item in a world without magic, but this tainted the land and caused an alteration of the timeline. Then the "timeline" of Star*Drives becomes the postapocalypse "Gamma World". Then the secret order of the cronomancers try to fix this, and they do it... almost totally. But then to avoid the new time paradoxes created by the chronomancers then the "time spheres" are created. These demiplanes are like the "wildspaces" from Spelljammer, but based in alternate timelines. Some time spheres are true distopies, causing these to be sent to the infernal planes. Other are true utopies, and then they appear in the celestial planes.
