D&D 5E DnD5e podcasts for dungeonmasters...

Casimir Liber

Adventurer
Keen for inspiration on podcasts - started with Dungeoncast which was good at familiarising myself with statblocks and rules of subclasses and some monsters (given my head still dredges up 1e stats at odd times...). Found Dump Stat which I have really enjoyed, with useful creative ideas on how to use monsters in alternative ways (they have shorter Wandering Monster podcasts abt 12 min long). Also listened to a few Champions of Lore and Slyflourish, both of which have given me ideas.

So am looking mainly at creative/interesting ways of using 5e material - how to improve some adventures or locales. All input welcomed

Hey Cavetroll, FoaBD looks like it does only "Old School Rules" (OSR). Do you know if they have 5e content also?
Not 5e specific. Its not really a rules specific podcast. What they do is the only review modules that they have run, and then they break it down into components, theme, art, playability, etc dig into with analysis that is almost like a "publishers or editors" analysis. They don't hold back where problems exist either. Then in the second half they examine themes related to the module and how you can create your own content.

What I find so compelling about the podcast is that it drills into you what you need in for your module to be stand out (regardless of the rules system).

That sounds great - thanks!
