Do Poly Self + Alter Self bonuses stack?

Quick question:

If I cast Polymorph Self to polymorph into, say, a specific troll. Then I use Alter Self to sort of smooth out the details ... do I get a +20 on my disguise check?

(Both Poly Self and Alter Self say you get a +10 if using the spell for a disguise).

You can't transform yourself into a specific troll - you have to transform yourself into a generic troll :)

I would rule that these bonuses are of the same type and thus wouldn't stack - they are both generated by exactly the same process (changing your appearance) after all.

Cheers

A good rule of thumb to use in instances where you get unnamed bonuses is to treat them as circumstance bonuses. There was an argument on another board regarding the hide skill where similar bonuses came up with the use of spells and cover. WotC e-mail correspondence (I know, bad reference) ruled the unnamed bonuses as circumstance bonuses.
