Do Psions Get Bonus Known Powers with Increased Ability Scores?

Um, I suppose I asked in the title of the thread.

I know you get bonus power points, but I can't find where it says (or doesn't say) where you might get bonus powers....

They don't get any bonus powers. They get more pp which allows them to manifest more though.

Exp Psionics Handbook pg 64

"The number of powers that all psionic classes can know is strictly limited; manifesters can never exceed those limits even through the research of original powrs."

Similar rules as exist for all spontaneous spell casters. It's part of the trade off for being able to spontaneously cast/manifest spells/powers.

Agreed with Irdeggman, posting for confirmation, powers are gained as described in the psion table. 3@first, 5@second, 7@third. Ability has nothing to do with powers known, only power points, compare to sorcerer spells known/spells per day.

Nah, the sorcerer's spells known are about right.
Psions just get too many powers, which often include multiple 'spells' in one even.
But that's not really a problem, if there are no psions.
