Do WotC people still post on ENWorld?

That technique has a name, it's called astroturfing. But with such a vocal, net savvy customer base like the D&D community, any attempt like that would be marketing suicide. Even with WotC's past track record, they can't be that stupid.

I've never heard of this term before. Thanks.

Also, astroturfing is a technique employed by cash-strapped internet star-tups, not $4 billion corporations.

I don't think size has anything to do with crud dudish or plain weird behavior. The more people there are working for a company the more likely odd stuff is going to occur.

I'm sure they browse the forum and joke about some of the more outrageous 5e demands at work. I doubt any will post though. Its like sticking your hand into a hornets nest.

All of us crazed gamers latching on, dissecting every word, taking it all to extremes and freaking out over it. The word "lurker" comes to mind as a good example. :)

But what nobody is talking about from those cryptic Bruce Cordell and Monte Cook playtests posts is why was the paladin unconscious in one encounter and swallowed in another?!?!

OMG 5e PALADINS GOT THE SHAFT!!!!!!!!! CURSE YOU, WOTC!!!! YOU HAVE RIUNINATED MY MOST FAVORITEST CLASS OF ALL T1ME!!!!!!!11!!:mad::eek::confused::mad:

Out of curiousity, is there something wrong with reading the teasers from a playtest?

Does it cause cancer, for example, or cause orphans to eat imitation gruel? Please let us know, so we aren't so reckless with our lives.

You misunderstood. He saw two messages on twitter. The first by Cook told us that his dwarf had just critter a Lurker that had swallowed the paladin, then a later message told us that the paladin was unconscious.

I was making a joke off the two playtest posts that Monte and Bruce made that were posted to the EN World 5e info page. Each post something bad had happened to the paladin. But I don't actually know anything about 5e mechanics.

thanks for the info. This really made my head spin for a bit. Last I knew 5e is supposed to be mechanic agnostic. I don't know how there going to do that.

Seriously, do you have nothing better to do than hang out on this forum and not make sense. Very little of what you say makes any sense. Do you know any of the definitions of the word agnostic. Based on your use of it I'd say no.
