I'm sure they browse the forum and joke about some of the more outrageous 5e demands at work. I doubt any will post though. Its like sticking your hand into a hornets nest.

There might be one or two adrenaline junkies on the staff that like such extreme sports. In between surfing trips riding monster waves and searching for rare species of cobras, they like to slip an occasional post into the forums. You can only fake out those hornets so many times before they wise up to you, and then you need another kind of thrill.

guys I have few doubts that there paying some teenagers minimum wage to go around and work against doubts about the game(s) and dig against criticisms. It's cheap and effective way of boostering sales. If you want to conjure up tentacled monsters attached to WOTC then do so. Advertising is everywhere and in everything. ENWorld could be funded by WOTC for all we know. There's public facade and then there's the stuff going on behind the scenes. That's just they way life is.

Did you know how inflexible and narrow 4E is? 5E is just around the corner and is superior to it in every way!

Please don't stop buying 4E though!
