Not in this lifetime!!
However, in middle school, I did inherit a duplicate set (I already owned them myself) of the original AD&D core rulebooks from an older relative who no longer played the game. His MM & DMG were in pretty rough shape, and the cover layers were partially torn. My buddy and I decided to peel the rest of the cover off (a slow, painstaking process) leaving a white, pulpy cardboard paper surface. We then designed and colored our own cover art and used contact paper to seal them.
But please note...these were not my books originally; I did not color inside them; and was only attempting to creatively repair the already damaged covers. I do my best to keep my D&D books in good condition, while still using them.
