Do you plan to grab the new Star Wars Saga book to use for D&D?

There's always the possibility of parallel evolution or Rodney and Owen (it is Owen as his partner, right?) picking up some cues from WotC's thoughts about a (theoretical) 4E. Certainly many of the Star Wars changes, like streamlined skill sets, are among changes people often talk about wanting in 4E and got to a certain degree in 3.5.

There is always that chance, but from what Rodney and Owens have said it just doesn't sound like that is what happened. And I'm just against pointless 4e rumors that people make up based purely on speculation.

I will get it for just this purpose, and I hope it indicates that a 4th Ed. of D&D based on the same concepts is on the way :)

It will aid me greatly in my ongoing homebrew d20 modern with feats/talents based on current D&D/Iron Heroes/Spycraft 2.0 feats, class abilities for fantasy work

Can't wait for May to arrive.

No. The classes working more like d20Modern is the only change that sounds like a definite improvement and the hit point mechanic sounds like it might be worth checking out. However, none of the other changes interest me and, for my tastes, sound like a step backward.

Will likely pick it up at some point, though only because I'm a SW fan.

I don't plan on converting our SWRPG campaign to the new edition, so I'm in no particular rush to pick it up. If the RPGA announces a new SWRPG campaign, that might incent me to pick it up sooner rather than later.

Note that none of the above have anything to do with my D&D game. :)

This year, D20 Star Wars is getting a big revamp, including streamlined skills, fewer classes (with the other classes being replicated as class abilities or feat chains) and combat revisions. A lot of people are wondering if this is a glimpse at a possible 4E for D&D or perhaps if it'll just be a good source of ideas for their own D&D games.

How many people are planning on picking up the new book primarily as a D&D/D20 resource?
I'm not planning on picking it up, but even if I were it wouldn't be to mine it for ideas for a D&D game. D&D expansion and 3rd-party products cover my variant rule cravings in genre without having to muck around with a sci-fantasy game as well.

Many will try to resist ... but they don't know the power of the Dark Side (Ha$bro).

Darth Asad is Sithcore!

I certainly won't get it for that purpose. I may not get it at all, since I've barely used the other two d20 Star Wars corebooks that I have, making it hard to justify a third revision. :(
