Okay, page 2, it's time we start debating.

There are some specific cases where we do this kind of thing, but generally it is unnecessary. Of course, if the the Table is having fun, keep doing it--if the Table is having fun.

Hexmage does it away from the Table, so as long as your having fun, keep on keepin' on. However, if you ever feel like it's a chore, don't do it, it's unnecessary. Use your Dungeon Master superpower of executive decision making.

If your Table doesn't like your decision, and it still feels like a chore, then you're thier dirty word now. However, it sounds like a) your having fun, and b) they don't even know you're doing it anyway.

Playing the position of Dungeon Master for the team can be a thankless job at times, and also a highly addictive one. We're artists with a deep need to create.
