Do you use a tablet? Which kind? With what game?

Motorola Xoom. Drop box and Quick Office Pro HD. If I played at the table I would also use Dicebox and multi task between Quick Office to dicebox to adobe pdf.

Yeah that's right.

I used a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet to map a 1e venture into Temple of Elemental Evil. And I used an iPad in that campaign to help display the map.

Nowadays, I don't map, and I just use the iPad for lookups on the PFSRD.

iPAD 1 - Warhammer v.2 & Pathfinder
Apps used:
  • Index Cards - just what it sounds like
  • GoodReader but moving to ReaddleDocs - PDF readers
  • NoteTaker HD - use stylus, it has graph (large & small) paper templates
  • Chapters / Pages - Word Processor
  • Dicenomicon - dice roller
  • PFR - Pathfinder Referance Doc (PF ruleset)
  • DM ToolKit
  • Spells - SRD spell list
  • MyPad - Facebook
  • ForumRunner - for ENWorld

I am still looking for a OneNote type app for the iPad. :(

I have an iPad that I have been using for playing dnd since it (the iPad, not dnd!) came out.

As I player I use the website iplay4e, which allows me to upload my CB files and run my character from there.

As a DM (main function), I use an app called Index Cards to make my adventures. Basically it makes index cards that you can color and move around, making it easy to get an overview and to change around things when players don't do things as you thought they might do. I use green (roleplay/info), yellow (skill challenges) and red (combat) to easily track things.

For the monsters, I use Dropbox. I export the monsters from the MB as pictures and put them into Dropbox, for easy access.

I always have google.docs open, in case I need to make note of something that happens.

I am curious as well.

Not that all differents between the apps, but ReaddleDocs auto-fits to landscape and portrait taking advanage of full screen without the doc page being re-sized.

It is possible that GoodReader does the same but I am missing it. Screen shots from my iPAD, big monkey is ReaddleDoc, the small monkey was from GoodReader.

GoodReader has a crop feature that can apply the same crop setting to the whole PDF. So when I open a Pathfinder PDF that tends to have the same margins at the top, bottom and sides of page I can crop the view on that one page and then apply it to the rest of the PDF.

Ah! I posted before the screenshots. I see what you were talking about and autosize. Yeah - not sure GoodReader has that option.

I'm using my iPad 2 when running Pathfinder, specifically Council of Thieves. I'm still using iBooks, but I may have to get ahold of GoodReader or ReaddleDocs.

I'm still rolling my own dice, though.

And I would consider playing games by other companies who don't put out their games on PDF in the same manner, but cannot do so legally.
